Abstract (English): Detection and processing of transient flame images are involved in thermal power engineering equipment, such as detection of flame temperature in internal combustion engine and pulsation characteristics of combustion flame. Based on the theory of double color temperature measurement and the principle of Fourier transform , a transient flame image processing system has been developed. Combining with transient combustion flame images captured by a high-speed camera, the system can calculate transient temperature distributions and characteristics of amplitude and frequency of combustion pulsation. It has been used in experimental teaching of detection and processing of transient flame images. Diesel combustion temperatures in internal combustion engine and pulsation characteristics of laminar diffusion flames have been measured. Combination of experimental teaching and theoretical teaching further stimulated the students ’ interest in learning. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Chinese): 热能动力工程装置中涉及瞬态火焰图像的检测与处理,如内燃机燃烧室中 火焰温度的检测以及燃烧火焰脉动特性的检测。基于双色测温理论及傅里叶变换 原理开发了 一套瞬态火焰图像处理系统,结合高速摄像仪获得的瞬态燃烧火焰图 像,能够计算瞬态火焰图像的温度分布、燃烧脉动的幅频特性。该系统已用于瞬态 火焰图像检测处理的实验教学中,检测了定容弹燃用柴油的温度分布以及层流扩 散乙烯火焰的脉动特性。 [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
